I'm sorta embarrassed to admit this; one of my New Year's resolutions for 2010 was to take a creative class that required using my hands and zero computer work. It could have been anything but what I did not want it to involve electronics. So when my friend, Francoise Weeks invited me to attend one of her floral making classes I cheerfully agreed to meet her and a few others in her studio in SE Portland. 

I know Francoise through the wedding industry. We've worked on a few weddings together this year but had never met in person until this class! I have to tell you; her work is amazing, she's one of those creative people who creates from her heart. A floral genius of sorts. She offers many one-on-one classes through out the year, the one I took was called Woodland Arrangements. It's a one night class and you get to take home what you make! I was throughly impressed with all the materials we used and impressed with how much fun I had! I hope to take another class again soon... maybe another centerpiece class?!?
