Thanksgiving break was all I could have hoped for and more. The days were lazy, sunny, and filled with sarcastic jokes and many belly laughs.

My sister and I both got married within 6 months of each other in late 2006/early 2007. Neither of us have jumped the baby train yet so it's all "adults". For the past 3/4 years we have upped our family count... which means we've upped the amount of laughter, jokes and boy count! Boo. Counting grandma we are even with 4 boys: dad, Kev, Josh and Rob... and four girls girls: me, Nat, mom and grandma. Kev, this is a little virtual nudge for you. love you

Holiday visits at my parents are like family sleepovers. Well, technically, I guess they are family sleepovers. All 8 of us spend the night, sleep in, enjoy late lazy mornings and try to get one thing done... Mom complains our coffee is too strong we complain it's too week... etc. We aim for a 11am start time for whatever it is we are up to that day... hours later we are finally out the door. It's just how we are...

What did we do in SoCal? We took a family photo (of course). Mom needs her Christmas card. We did a few dinners out... shopping black friday!) and the like. The images below are from the day we visited Griffith Park Observatory. It might look warm but don't let the sunset fool you. It.was.cold. The park just under went a 7 year $93 million renovation. Gorgeous.

If you ever get the chance to visit, go! It's gorgeous and I believe it boasts the best view of LA. You can also hike to the Hollywood sign from there if you so desire. Website: www.griffithobservatory.org
