Kristen and James! What a fun wedding and it was so great to be back in Orange, California again. The reception site was about 10 minutes from my college campus, Chapman. You know how it is when you go back, don't you? Nostalgia galore. I love old town Orange and the people that make it special to me. AND this wedding must have been 50% populated by Chapman Grads.... or so I was told.

Here are my top 5 wedding moments!
* The bouquet toss. If you were there you would know. It's quite possibly the best I've seen :)
* In the middle of the ceremony both Kristen and her mom, James and his dad stood up in front to offer communion to all guests. It was so neat to see all the wedding guests come together and participate during the ceremony. I've never seen anything like it.
* Portraits at dusk! I've been able to convince quite a few of my couples this year to allow me to steal them from their reception for a few minutes right at dusk. Kristen and James were adamant about doing this and it was my favorite! It was so fun to sneak away from the raging party for a few intimate moments together... and would you look at that yummy light.
* OC for smog and pretty sunsets and views and reception locations up on a hill top.
* Parents that love and support children. It's always awesome to attend weddings where parents are totally excited for their kids.
