Jennifer and Oni were not only casual and flexible but they were willing to play in the rain... not something I usually choose to do with my dog. However, I have to admit it's good for the soul to throw on a hat and boots and have some fun!
As many of us know, dogs are just as much part of the family as other people are. If you have a furry creature you know it's true. I've heard the family dog be referred to as a child, queen, or king, the protector, the loyal one... I think you get the picture. Pets have quite the position in families today. This is no different for Jennifer's family or mine!
Jennifer, Oni and I met on a rainy day out in the Gorge. It was literally raining the entire time but to be honest, I believe Oni liked it best that way. She is a water loving lab, can you tell? Just dove right in... quite the opposite of my puppy who will do almost anything to avoid getting her toes wet.
