Welcome:
Hi there, I'm so glad you're here! I'm Melissa, the creative mind
behind Soul Mates Photo. I enjoy spending time with people - with or
without my camera.
Twitter:
Sunshine.
There is something about this bright, shining, warm thing that makes me happy. It makes my insides smile. If I could package it up and save it for a later date, say February, I would. Even if I had to pay in 90 minute increments like street parking in the city I'd save every last cent for this bright happy goodness. Sun, why do I love you so?
And it's January! I can't express to you how very happy I am.
In honor of the sunshine I'm sharing Amy and Colin's second round of engagement photos. Yes, you heard me, second. It's like when you enjoy your ice cream so much one helping is just not enough. I did indeed photograph Amy and Colin 2x during their engagement. Two totally different feels but both totally fun and gorgeous. This session was taken last September right before their wedding.

sweet light and so natural....

(01.18.10 @ 04:08 PM)Nevermind, had I actually read the post first I wouldn't have asked that question. Anyway, once again. Totally cute!!
(01.18.10 @ 04:09 PM)yep! thanks everyone... they were taken last sept :) makes you wish for summer, doesn't it!
(01.19.10 @ 10:33 AM)These are sooooooo cute!! love all of them!!!! BEautiful job as always!
(01.20.10 @ 10:04 AM)There are times I find it very difficult to express my love for Sunshine without seeming like I am whining constantly. January in the States is always the harshest, regardless if this is considered a mild Winter or not. BUT.... you always have pretty images like this to look forward to. And I guess that makes it all worth.
(oh and wildflowers are my 2nd fave flowers in the world, esp pretty white ones like in the last 2 pics)
